I had a fantastic stay at this lodge in a beautiful village close to the beach. The location was perfect, with Guincho Beach just a short drive or walk away. The lodge was in close proximity to Cascais, Lisbon, Sintra, and Ericeira, making it easy to explore the area. The owner, Paulo, was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making sure that I felt at home during my stay. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and I appreciated having a private bathroom. The staff was also amazing, providing a friendly and helpful service. The breakfast options were basic but satisfying, and there were even options available for vegans.
Nothing all good.

Pros of our stay at Moby Dick Lodge. This place is incredible! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the friendliest owner who made sure we had everything we needed, including beach umbrellas for our day at the beach. The guesthouse had an open kitchen and a cozy dining area with couches. Outside, the backyard was spacious and paved. Our room was large and comfortable, with a double bed and a bunk bed. The staff was also very welcoming and informative, and even though we visited off-season, they made us feel at home. The location in a small village was lovely, and it was perfect for surfing as it was close to Guincho Beach. It's also conveniently located near Cascais, Sintra, and Lisbon. The best part was being able to take surf classes from their son, who offered almost-private lessons for group prices. There was a lovely terrace to relax on after surfing and a fully-equipped kitchen. our vacation was amazing thanks to Moby Dick Lodge.

The location of this lodge is great - close to beautiful beaches, Sintra, and Lisbon. The central location allows easy access to explore the surrounding areas. The friendly owner provides helpful tips and suggestions for activities. The guesthouse has a lovely backyard with plenty of space to relax.
The interior of the lodge is a bit outdated and worn, which doesn't match the overall positive vibe of the place.

We got great value for our money at this small and cozy place. The room was perfect for our needs, and the location was ideal - near the beautiful Guincho Beach and within easy reach of Sintra and Lisbon. The staff treated us with utmost friendliness and helpfulness, making us feel comfortable and happy throughout our stay.
The breakfast could be improved with some variety, like fresh fruits and yogurts.
